Coroner
The County Coroner is a constitutional officer elected to a four-year term, responsible for investigating deaths occurring under unusual or suspicious circumstances. The Coroner determines cause and manner of death, coordinates with law enforcement when necessary, and ensures proper handling of death investigations as required by Colorado law.
